Step into a world where myth and fury collide. The Rage Gorgons universe pulses with raw energy, dark secrets, and epic conflicts. I invite you to explore this vivid realm where ancient powers awaken and destinies intertwine. Let’s dive deep into the storytelling themes that make this universe unforgettable. Because the characters don't just growl, suck blood or sacrifice themselves in a blaze of fire for nothing.
The Heart of Rage Gorgons Storytelling Themes
At its core, the Rage Gorgons universe thrives on transformation and rebellion. These themes ripple through every character and conflict. The Gorgons themselves are not just monsters; they are symbols of rage turned into power. Based on characters from the world of Dead Titans, they take the story to the next level and we see them try to navigate a post-apocalyptic world. Their stories challenge the boundaries between victim and villain, hero and anti-hero.
Transformation: Characters undergo profound changes, both physical and emotional. Rage fuels their evolution, often at a steep cost. Since they are products of the Gorgon Virus, they show us what it means to navigate being human while transforming into something different. Predatory.
Rebellion: The universe is a battleground of defiance against oppressive forces, whether Titans, tyrants, or fate itself.
Redemption and Damnation: Choices matter. Every act of rage can lead to salvation or destruction.
This blend creates a dynamic narrative that keeps you hooked. The tension between control and chaos drives the plot forward, making every moment unpredictable.

The Origins of the Rage Gorgons Universe
The universe’s foundation lies in the first series, Dead Titans. The Rage Gorgons were born from a virus that ravaged the globe and they were forced to choose illumination or damnation. They chose violence.
The virus transformed once normal humans into fearsome creatures with fur or fangs and petrifying gazes.
These Gorgons were outcasts, feared and hunted, yet they hold secrets to immense power.
The world around them is scarred by wars and shifting alliances.
Understanding this origin helps you grasp the stakes and the emotional weight carried by every character. It’s a universe where history is alive, shaping the present in unexpected ways.
The Role of the Gorgon Virus in Rage Gorgons
The power in Rage Gorgons does not come from magic. It comes from the Gorgon Virus, a man-made catastrophe that changed the bodies, instincts, and futures of the people who survived it. Werewolves, vampires, phoenixes, and other Gorgons are not ancient beings stepping out of legend. Even a dragon shifter pops up in Los Angeles. They are altered humans trying to understand what they have become after science, violence, and ambition rewrote the rules of survival.
The Gorgon Virus creates transformation without mercy. For some, it awakens strength, immortality, shapeshifting, or predatory instinct. For others, it becomes another form of control, turning them into weapons, rulers, monsters, or fugitives.
In this companion series, the question is not whether magic is real. The question is what happens when human beings are changed so completely that the old names for monsters start to fit.
Rage Gorgons explores:
the aftermath of the Gorgon Virus and the collapse it helped create
shapeshifters, vampires, werewolves, and phoenixes as virus-born survivors
power struggles between emerging supernatural factions
the tension between instinct, identity, loyalty, and control
what it means to build a future when humanity itself has mutated

Characters Shaped by the Gorgon Virus
The Rage Gorgons companion series follows three powerful survivors whose transformations pull them into the darker political and supernatural fallout of the Dead Titans world. They are not chosen heroes or magical archetypes. They are people changed by the Gorgon Virus, forced to decide what kind of monsters, rulers, and survivors they are willing to become.
Xander Emerson is a werewolf Gorgon building a pack in Scotland after the collapse of the old world. Violent, calculating, and fiercely territorial, Xander’s story explores loyalty, control, and the dangerous line between protection and domination. He is the foundation that the first book, The Pack explores.
Elijah Conner is a vampire overlord whose ambition reshapes the United States. His pursuit of Allison Myers is personal, possessive, and political, making him one of the most dangerous figures in the post-Gorgon world. He is the foundation the second book, The Vampire Age follows.
Storm Vindar is a phoenix shapeshifter based out of South America, tied to fire, survival, and resurrection. His story brings the larger Dead Titans universe toward its final reckoning, where rebirth may come at a brutal cost. He is the heart of Rebirth, the third and final book in this companion series.
Together, their stories expand the world beyond the core Dead Titans trilogy, showing what happens when the changed stop running and begin carving out territories of their own.
Expanding the Dead Titans World
Rage Gorgons exists as a companion series to Dead Titans, widening the lens beyond Casey, Allison, and Nick to show what happens to the changed after the old world collapses. While the core trilogy follows the Titans and the fight against the systems that created them, Rage Gorgons turns toward the shapeshifters, vampires, werewolves, phoenixes, and other survivors forced to build power in the aftermath.
These stories explore the darker territories of the post-Gorgon world: Scotland, the United States under vampire control, and South America as Storm Vindar’s phoenix arc brings the larger saga toward its end. Each book follows a different kind of changed survivor, showing how the Gorgon Virus reshaped not only bodies, but governments, loyalties, territories, and the meaning of humanity itself.
The companion series is not separate from Dead Titans. It is the shadowed edge of the same broken world, where monsters are not born from myth or magic, but from survival, ambition, hunger, and the cost of being remade.
Explore Rage Gorgons
The Rage Gorgons section of the website is now open as a companion space to the Dead Titans world. Since these books are lower priority while I focus on finishing Rogue Gods, this page will grow over time with character details, series notes, and future updates.
You are welcome to explore the current material, revisit the connected Dead Titans lore, and join the discussion thread to share theories about Xander, Elijah, Storm, and the changed world left behind by the Gorgon Virus.
